The Mental Health and Well-being club prioritizes self-care and improved mental health of a student during stressful and challenging times. This club provides a safe space for individuals to share their stories and reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges. Activities of the club include hosting talks, seminars and workshops on various mental health topics, psychological counselling sessions, meditation and yoga sessions to promote relaxation and stress reduction.
Objectives:
- To improve the mental health of the college students by raising awareness about mental health issues, promoting stress management techniques and adopting positive mental health practices which can positively impact academic performance and creativity by reducing stress and anxiety.
- Foster a sense of belonging and connection among the members to combat feelings of isolation.
- Cultivating self-love, raising awareness and battling against unhealthy emotions to become stronger than before.
